In the traditonal model of psychotherapy the patient meets with therapist weekly for a period of time. This can be long-term support or short term focused work. There are many benefits to this model including; regular weekly support, support with mental health diagnosis, care for chronic conditions, and more. We love how this model creates a structure and scaffolding of support where you have space set aside for the care you need. Patients often experience this as helpful to stabilize and then begin to deepen their growth work. They find that having a supportive therapist regularly scheduled into their week helps to integrate in-real-time stressors and experiences that otherwise my not be processed. Intensive Model
We offer a one time intense session model for focused work designed around a specific inquire or need. This could look like scheduling a single 90 min session or a series of sessions. This is a great option that can allow you to experience this work, finding resolution on a specific matter, engag in a creative exploration, and more. People like this model because it allows them to engage deeply for a brief and concentrated experience. This is a great model for you if you find that you are stable, don’t want weekly sessions, but would like support to do a specific exploration. Consultation Model
Perhaps you have no idea. You’ve gotten this far on the the page are thinking, “I really don’t know, but I just know I needs something.” We can schedule a 90 minute therapeutic consultation with the specific goal to design a care plan for you.
